Word for the Day

Philippians:
Chapter 2 v 14 - 15
"Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining and questioning and doubting. That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse (wicked) generation, among whom you (we) are seen as bright lights (stars) in the dark world." Amplified version

Someone gave me this verse a long time ago and it still holds true for us today. That we should be an example in whatever we are doing - a light in the darkness, a sign pointing the way, that the light of Jesus should shine through us to the people we meet - like Mother Theresa who let the light of Jesus shine through her to the poor and needy people as she ministered to them. We are called to be lights and guideposts.
