The dangers of some pentecostal/evangelical churches.

The BBC report a man that let his daughter die because he put prayer over calling for medical assistance. Yes, prayer and faith are important but God has also given us medical wisdom and the two should go hand in hand.

A US jury has found a man guilty of killing his sick 11-year-old daughter by praying for her recovery rather than seeking medical care.
The man, Dale Neumann, told a court in the state of Wisconsin he believed God could heal his daughter.
She died of a treatable disease - undiagnosed diabetes - at home in rural Wisconsin in March last year, as people surrounded her and prayed.

The Catholic Church has always balanced faith and reason, whereas some of these churches seem to concentrate on faith only and this is where they get out of kilter and unbalanced.
