What I like about Catholics:

They always seem so happy - have you noticed how people with a real Catholic faith or a vocation to the Priesthood or as a Nun are always smiling - genuinely happy people with a deep faith in God. They are people that you just want to be around and soak up their wisdom and spirituality.

Physical and Mental Healing

Physical Healing JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD FOR US TO LIVE WHOLE. It is in Isaiah 53:4-5 that we see the beautiful prophetic picture of the Messiah who would redeem us with much suffering. From it we hear the foreshadowing of his passion; " Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” AND MENTAL HEALING The drops of blood that Jesus sweat in the Garden of Gethsemane surely fulfills "the anguish of His soul" that Isaiah spoke of. We are told of this incident only in the gospel of Luke. That seems appropriate because Luke was a physician and he would have been very interested in medical details. "And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground." (Luke 22:44) Jesus had
