ARCH 'Those People Affected by Abortion'

New Anti-Abortion site

Warning this site contains graphic images: http://abort67.co.uk/ Abort67 is the name given to the public education project that seeks to change the way we think about abortion. We believe that every woman has the right to accurate, unbiased information about all of her pregnancy choices, including abortion. These are the words of a young woman in the UK who had an abortion when she was 24. This is not an unusual case, yet the abortion providers are withholding telling these women the damaging facts of abortion. "I was in my early twenty`s when i discovered i was pregnant. I wasn`t in a stable relationship and i felt very alone and scared. Till this day i regret what i did." I would also like to quote fellow Blogger " Apostolate of the Laity " here: The procedure may be legally available and it may be performed quickly, cleanly, and skillfully, but the hard fact that some abortion supporters have trouble seeing is this: In many ways, abortion will always be in the

Romanian Priest Drowns Baby in Baptism

The Sun reported yesterday that a Romanian priest incorrectly carried out a baptismal procedure and drowned a baby. I think only adults should undergo baptism by immersion and babies should just be sprinkled with water. A PRIEST has been accused of drowning a baby as he BAPTISED the tiny tot. The holy man is being quizzed after the baby's parents claimed he accidentally drowned their son at the ceremony. Witnesses claim Father Valentin did not cover the six-week-old tot's mouth before immersing him in the font. The priest denies being to blame for baby's death after the baptism in the Rascani district in north-western Moldova, Eastern Europe. The heart-wrenching plea for life was captured by a BBC crew making a documentary about patients with serious brain injuries. The programme last night reignited the controversy over living wills, where people declare in advance how they wish to be treated if they are seriously ill and unable to communicate. Paralysed man manages to signal to family that he's alive after doctors declare him dead Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1015915/H

The Daily Mail reports on some interesting cases this week - starting with this: A paralysed man has spoken of his desperate attempts to show he was still alive after doctors declared him brain dead. Zack Dunlap overheard medics tell his family at his hospital bedside that he had died – but could not speak or move because of his injuries. The 21-year-old's parents, Doug and Pam, were told to say goodbye to their son and medical staff were instructed to prepare his body for organ donation. Thought for the Day

Thought for the Day 3rd July 2010 Categorised as Thought of the Day and published Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 Thought for the Day 2nd July 2010 http://www.newmancause.co.uk/thought/thought-for-the-day-3rd-july-2010.html If then the power of speech is a gift as great as any that can be named,—if the origin of language is by many philosophers even considered to be nothing short of divine,—if by means of words the secrets of the heart are brought to light, pain of soul is relieved, hidden grief is carried off, sympathy conveyed, counsel imparted, experience recorded, and wisdom perpetuated,—if by great authors the many are drawn up into unity, national character is fixed, a people speaks, the past and the future, the East and the West are brought into communication with each other,—if such men are, in a word, the spokesmen and prophets of the human family,—it will not answer to make light of Literature or to neglect its study; rather we may be sure that, in proportion as we master it in wha
