Vaccines 2

The second report is of the side effects being experienced by those who took the swine flu vaccine which some say was rushed out without proper testing.

A swine flu vaccine given to millions of Britons is being investigated after it was linked to the sleeping disorder narcolepsy.

The European Medicines Agency is looking into Pandemrix after being alerted to a number of cases.

The rare condition causes sufferers to fall asleep suddenly and unexpectedly.

Pandemrix, which is made by GlaxoSmithKline, was the main vaccine used in the UK at the height of last year’s flu pandemic.

It was given to six million people in high-risk groups, including children and those with conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and asthma.

It has been given to at least 30.8million people in Europe.

In a statement yesterday, the EMA said ‘Although the cases of narcolepsy have been reported i…

Vaccines

Vaccines surface in the news this week - the first is a report for damages for the controversial MMR vaccine:

A mother whose son suffered severe brain damage after he was given the controversial MMR vaccine as a baby has been awarded £90,000 compensation.

The judgment is the first of its kind to be revealed since concerns were raised about the safety of the triple jab.

Robert Fletcher, 18, is unable to talk, stand unaided or feed himself.

Warning - Are You Being Targeted For Euthanasia?

This is an American article - but from personal experience this is happening in the UK NHS too:
Your life may be in danger if you are admitted to a hospital, especially if you are over 65 or have a chronic illness or a disability. The elderly are frequently dying three days after being admitted to the hospital. Some attribute it to "old age syndrome" while others admit that overdosing is all too common. Euthanasia is not legal but it is being practiced.

"The Lord is my rock and salvation "

As our lives move along, there are disappointments, but there are also hopes and promise of numerous blessings and, in time, eternal happiness and peace. He warned His disciples that they would go through challenging and difficult times before they experienced salvation and glory. A firm confidence and trust that Jesus’s promise will be fulfilled becomes a rock, a foundation unmoved, upon which we can depend on God’s presence and help.

Rosary saved his life

'My rosary saved me': Incredible story of a young soldier who cheated death after standing on landmine and being shot. A soldier who stood on a landmine and was shot in the chest in Afghanistan is convinced a rosary saved his life in exactly the same way as his great-grandfather towards the end of World War II. Glenn Hockton, 19, who is now home from a seven-month tour of duty with the Coldstream Guards in Helmand Province, was on patrol when his rosary suddenly fell from his neck.

His mother Sheri Jones said today: 'He felt like he had a slap on the back. He bent down to pick up his rosary to see if it was broken. As he bent down he realised he was on a landmine.'

Irene Sandler

The Times in 2008 did a very good obituary on this lady:

When Germany invaded Poland in 1939 Irena Sendler had no doubt how to respond. “I saw the Polish nation drowning. And those in most difficult position were the Jews. And among them those most vulnerable were the children. So I had to help.”

Sendler, a social care nurse for the Warsaw city council, spent the next four years risking her life in the Warsaw ghetto, delivering essential supplies and, when the true purposes of Nazi policy became apparent, smuggling out as many children as she could.

She saved many hundreds of lives — perhaps as many as 2,500. Even under torture and sentence of death, she refused to reveal the whereabouts of the rescued children to the Nazi occupiers, and after escaping captivity went back to the underground, making sure that those she had hidden survived the war.

She was born in Warsaw in 1910, the only child of Dr Stanislaw Krzyzanowski. The family moved to the nearby town of Otwock, where her father ha…
